- January: I'm going on a cruise with my dad and stepmom that has been booked for nearly a year - it's finally here! We are leaving from Puerto Rico (I'll fly via Charlotte and visit my friend Bethany and her family on my longggg layover), so I will visit there a bit and then we are going on a 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise to St. Croix, St. Martin's, Grenada, Dominica, and Barbados! This will be my first cruise ever and I'm very excited - never been to any of these places!
- February: I'm heading to Colombia with a couple friends from Boston and I'm super excited to visit my first South American country. Colombia came up because I was interested in a trip someplace new that I could do a shorter tour for cheap. I found this tour from Gate 1 Travel, and knew it was the perfect trip! So we are heading down a day early and taking a red-eye back, so end up having 5 full days in Colombia! Probably not quite long enough, but for me it'll be perfect!
- March: Hopefully a weekend trip to NYC, and I have some friends visiting at the end of the month - may take a few days to go up to Vermont and finally visit some of the great breweries that have been on my list for awhile.
- April: Hopefully a weekend trip to DC/Baltimore to see the many friends I seem to have in that area now!
- May: In the beginning of the month, I am crossing my fingers that I get the time and funding approved to go to the Romantic Times Convention in Atlanta, where I'll be able to visit my friend as well and maybe do a day-trip to another one of my bucket list cities, Birmingham. Hit two up with one trip! Then later in the month over Memorial Day, I'm planning to go on a week-long trip to Greece with a couple of friends! Just booked my airfare the other day and am really excited to start planning. The hope is to visit Athens and then spend time on a few of the islands as well!
Even though I am a big planner in advance, my second half of 2017 is still pretty up in the air - kinda nerve-wracking, but exciting too! But I do have the first half of the year planned, so without further ado:

To recap my reading goals from 2016 and to see what I accomplished (or didn't):
Alright, many of my 2017 reading goals are the sameas the previous year, sadly, but oh well:
